Torie Chilcott

Torie combines the creative flair of a TV producer with the rigour of a tech entrepreneur.

As Head of Development at Freemantle, Torie co-created and sold show formats like Pop Idol and The Farmer Wants a Wife. Many of her show formats went global, running on channels from the BBC and Disney to CNN and Sky – picking up numerous BAFTAs and other awards along the way.

She founded Rockabox Media (now Scoota) in 2007, which quickly became the global leader in creative programmatic media distribution. She has also created two bestselling children’s books for charity, is a winner of Everywoman’s Technology Woman of the Year and is a Guinness World Record holder.
