After graduating in International relations from Virginia Tech USA, Janet was recruited by the US State Department and had postings to Brazzaville Congo, USA and Haiti.
When she then moved to the UK with her British family she worked in a number of roles in marketing and market research.
She strongly believes that organizational culture matters and sees huge similarity between diplomacy and good business culture. Janet’s mother tongue is Spanish (from her Mexican mother) and she also speaks conversational French. She has lived all over the world, including long stints in central and West Africa, India and South America.
She lives with her husband in Oxfordshire and has grown to become an avid Chelsea supporter.
