Board Effectiveness

One of the principal responsibilities of a board is to guide the company’s culture, both to ensure compliance with legal and ethical requirements and to maximise effectiveness and results. As boards are made up of experienced leaders, all recognise the importance of leadership and culture, yet many spend little time on their own effectiveness as a team.

Our work with boards leverages our experience with executive teams, and rests on the belief that if the mindset and behaviours are aligned, teams become more effective. So our assessment and mentoring with boards works closely with the chairman and company secretary to ensure objectives and expectations are aligned, meetings run smoothly, and that the varied skills and experience around the table are deployed to optimum effect.
